    Teams Calling

    Acceptable Use Policy

    1 BACKGROUND

    1.1 The LAB3 Group (being Lab3 Pty Ltd and LAB3 NZ Limited) (us, we) aims to provide our clients with access to cutting edge technology and to communication products and services to help their businesses fear less and achieve more.

    1.2 To achieve this, we have put in place this Teams Calling acceptable use policy (Acceptable Use Policy) to explain how our Teams Calling services and products (Teams Calling Services) may and may not be used.

    1.3 By accessing or using our Teams Calling Services, you agree to this Acceptable Use Policy as a binding contract (whether on behalf of yourself of a legal entity you represent).

    2 TERMS

    2.1 You must not (and must not permit others to) use our Teams Calling Services:

    (a) for any illegal purpose or to engage in any activity that violates any laws;

    (b) in any way that is harmful to others, including to threaten to harm a person or property, or to stalk or otherwise harass a person;

    (c) to distribute or make available any content or material in any form which is restricted, prohibited or otherwise unlawful, including content or material that is deceptive, fraudulent, illegal, obscene, defamatory, libellous, harmful to children, pornographic, indecent, hateful or which threatens or discriminates against others based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or medical condition;

    (d) to access, download, store, send or distribute any viruses, bots, worms or other harmful code, scripts or programs;

    (e) to send or distribute unsolicited advertising, bulk electronic messages or otherwise breach anti-spam legislation or regulations; or

    (f) in any way that would subject us to any liability.

    2.2 You also must not (and must not permit others to):

    (a) resupply or resell our Teams Calling Services;

    (b) cause significant network congestion, disruption or otherwise adversely affect our network or a supplier’s network;

    (c) engage in any activity that degrades the usability or performance of our Teams Calling Services;

    (d) compromise the security or integrity of our Teams Calling Services;

    (e) use another person’s name, username or password or otherwise attempt to gain access to the account of any other LAB3 client or prospective client;

    (f) tamper with, hinder the operation of, or make unauthorised modifications to our Teams Calling Services, including reverse-engineering or hacking our services, circumventing any security or authentication measures, or attempting to gain unauthorised access to our Teams Calling Services, related systems, networks or data;

    (g) violate the privacy of others by collecting or disclosing their personal information (including account names or information) without their knowledge or consent;

    (h) infringe our or a third party’s intellectual property or other proprietary rights, including copyright, trademark, trade secrets or moral rights; or

    (i) disparage us or our clients, partners and suppliers, or bringing any of us into disrepute.

    2.3 You must not do anything to facilitate, aid or encourage any of the activities set out in clause 2.1 or clause 2.2 above.

    3. OUR RIGHTS

    3.1 If we reasonably consider that your use or attempted use of our Teams Calling Services breaches this Acceptable Use Policy, we may (at our discretion) suspend or terminate your account or access to our Teams Calling Services without notice or liability.

    4. POLICY UPDATES

    4.1 We may vary and update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time by updating this Acceptable Use Policy on our website.

    4.2 We will notify current clients using our Teams Calling Services of any material changes to this Acceptable Use Policy.

    4.3 By continuing to use our Teams Calling Services you accept this Acceptable Use Policy as it applies from time to time.
