High-Profile in Microsoft global partner ecosystem secured with AI

LAB3 has featured at Microsoft Inspire for two years straight

For two years in a row LAB3 has featured at Microsoft Inspire on the strength of our AI-expertise. Inspire is Microsoft’s annual conference for its partner community around the world and heralds the start of each new calendar year.

During Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella’s keynote address in July this year, LAB3 featured amongst world leading partners when Nadella launched the newly re-branded Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program. This program is the next generation of Microsoft’s partner program and empowers partners to deliver customer value while leveraging Microsoft AI and the Microsoft Cloud.

At Inspire last year LAB3 presented a demo for our product Dr Migrate – which introduces automation and AI to the assessment and planning stages for cloud migration. Across Australia and New Zealand Dr Migrate is now being used in the government, financial services, healthcare, and major retail industries.

“The Microsoft partner ecosystem boasts some 400,000 partners. So, for LAB3 to have a profile at Inspire is humbling.”

“It’s a reflection of the work we have done, to play a key role in making new technology available to clients, especially in today’s AI-focused world,” said Steve Johns, Head of Partnerships, LAB3.

With a hundred percent focus on Azure, the LAB3 technology partnership with Microsoft is central to the LAB3 business model, as both a services provider and product developer.

“The cloud adoption needs of organisations are rapidly evolving and as partners, both Microsoft and LAB3 recognise that AI innovation is the solution,” said Johns.

Indeed, organisations are eager to experience the benefits of AI. In fact, 9 out of 10 leaders believe AI will give their organisation a competitive edge. And employees are ready to embrace AI, with 70% saying they would delegate as much work as possible to AI to lessen their workloads.

“Our approach to product development has been to use automation and AI to leverage Microsoft core offerings to drive greater value for our clients.”

“This strategy has enabled LAB3 to attract the attention of Microsoft and closely collaborate on innovation,” said Johns.

In addition to the AI Cloud Partner Program, LAB3 is also a member of the newly created Microsoft ISV Success Program and the AI Fast Movers Program. Additionally, with expertise in cybersecurity, LAB3 is a member of the Microsoft Security Intelligence Association (MISA).

“Our partnership with Microsoft has a common purpose – being to drive innovation and transformation with clients across industries to help them realise the benefits of integrating AI capabilities into every level of their organisations,” said Johns.
