Firstly, the neobank wanted to improve their IT processes such as onboarding new staff, consultants, and third-party partners with the right equipment or access.
Next, their IT service management model also required an uplift, as response times for service requests were starting to impact productivity.
Thirdly, the neobank wanted to right-size their investments in the cloud to make sure that both dev/test and production environments met the requirements of their growing product portfolio – whether to securely enable the testing of a new debit card product, or support the highly anticipated launch of a new savings app.

LAB3 designed and rebuilt all the neobank’s services in Azure. This was achieved by deploying a modern Azure platform – future proofed with all the recommended security configurations and required components for future expansion.

Further, LAB3 designed, built and migrated the Azure App Service workloads to Kubernetes on Azure to drive scalability and deliver cloud consumption savings. The platform offered white-labeled banking services with secure data storage and advanced analytics capabilities to deliver the geographic reach for the neobank to expand on a national and global scale.
LAB3 also defined ‘fit-for-purpose pipelines’ to manage distinct layers of the technology stack which extend to security and application workloads. This holistic approach provides the ability to scale and manage platforms with speed and reliability using DevOps practices.
LAB3 also implemented end-to-end workflows from onboarding to change management via DevOps into a ServiceNow platform.
