LAB3 disrupts tech sector
Fearless with ambition, LAB3 is firing on all fronts. The company is set to open an office in Sydney expanding its footprint to provide a local base for over 40 employees who have already been working in the city remotely for some time.
Headquartered in Melbourne with an office in Canberra; LAB3 also expanded into New Zealand on 1st July of this year, and has its sights set globally as an innovative product leader armed with a track record of expertise and innovation in Azure.
LAB3‘s North Sydney office will open on 1st October and will be home to the highly innovative LAB3 Security team championed by Anthony Wales, Director of Networks & Security.
“With LAB3, it is first and foremost about the success of our clients. This is what has driven our growth, accelerated innovation and product leadership, and motivated us to expand in Sydney and New Zealand,” said Chris Cook, Group CEO LAB3.
In the short space of time LAB3 has been operating in Sydney, it has built an impressive client list of enterprise organisations including a global ISV, Australian and NSW government entities (health, transport, and financial regulation), and insurance and banking corporations. Add to these are other ambitious brands, including in fintech (investments and neobanking) and highly regarded not for profit organisations.
LAB3 has already disrupted the Australian technology sector, and renowned for its growth and innovation already has a swag of industry awards. LAB3 is a Microsoft 13x Gold partner with 3 Advanced Specialisations.
Founded in Melbourne in 2017, LAB3 supports organisations at every scale to modernise with cloud technologies and get ahead of their industries with data driven solutions in Azure.
With its foundations firmly in place, LAB3 emerged as a product leader in 2021 with a catalogue of unique solutions that take standard Microsoft offerings to the next level. This includes products across its Cloud, Modern Workplace, Network, Security and Data, IoT and AI practices.
“Along with the pandemic, literally the world became virtual overnight,” said Chris. “To meet client demand, LAB3 accelerated product development to enable clients to move to the cloud quickly and securely and to take advantage of data driven technologies.”
“Security is also front of mind for clients in every industry sector,” said Anthony. “The public expectation is for the highest standards but at the same time, for remote work and online services to be smooth and easily accessible.”
Having offices in Sydney and Auckland is a big win for organisations looking to maximise cloud technologies. “Virtual delivery is possible and can be done extremely efficiently, but face to face, LAB3 can work alongside clients to build stronger partnerships with a future focus and to really capitalise on cloud investment,” said Anthony.
